Let’s Go! We Keep Moving Forward

We all know that the COVID-19 pandemic limits our mobility and gives a negative impact on the world economy ecosystem. The closing down of businesses put us all and individually struggle to survive both economically and health-conscious.

We are now in the fourth quarter of pandemic since the first death because of novel coronavirus (2019-ncov) outside of China was reported in the Philippines last February 2020.

The Indonesia government – my home country – at this stage, strategically resolves the COVID-19 pandemic by focusing on the availability of the vaccine. It is  ” not ” direct to the pandemic itself, even though the local government in the province and city-level did and is doing some partial lockdowns to control the super-spreader virus.

The good news is the announcement on the “schedule ” of vaccine availability. From here we can then calculate and determine the realistic time frame of the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia which will enter the under-control phase—then following with recovery action plan.

It confirms that President Joko Widodo or Jokowi has signed Presidential Regulation Number 99 of 2020 concerning Vaccine  COVID -19. These regulations govern the procurement and distribution implementation of the coronavirus vaccine – the plan starts at the end of 2020 – . the Imported vaccine COVID-19 arrived in Indonesia in November 2020. The government of Indonesia will distribute the first phase of the imported corona-virus-vaccine to medical personnel or vanguards.

Apart from imported vaccines, Indonesia is currently producing COVID-19 vaccines in the country. The vaccine is now in the third phase of clinical test which will then produce by appointed laboratory named Biofarma. We still have to wait for the relevant decision from the clinical test results until this coming December 2020. We all certainly hope that it will declare success. That way, the vaccine can be mass-produced in January 2021. People with high risk are likely to get the vaccine at the beginning of next year, the first quarter of entering the new year of 2021. Everything in life is now going better, moving forward positively and promising.

Moreover, in this last quarter of 2020, Bali, as a leading tourism destination for the world in Indonesia, keeps making some efforts to survive and rise from lethargy.

On 22 October 2020, Bali Hotels Association (BHA) launched “Bali, A New Kind Of Adventure”, a series of six, one-minute videos to support Bali and showcase Bali under the new health protocols. BHA releases the videos in this series on its social media channels “Bali Is My Life” one by one, over 18 days starting from the launched date. The key message is for travellers to enjoy Bali, travel responsibly and take in the Balinese culture and hospitality on each day of their adventures, in a way that will emotionally resonate with them. Bali Hotels Association also wants to proclaim that Bali offers more than just the parties and late nights, as there are also uniquely beautiful parts of the island that the couple captures while experiencing this new kind of adventure.

As Walt Disney said and I agree on the saying “We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we are curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths”.

Dear good people, please stay healthy and beautiful until then.

Warm greetings from Bali, Indonesia, we are ready to welcome you soon.

We are waiting for the re-opening of all borders worldwide and start travelling safely once again.
